The chest embroidery is subtle enough for work but still gives it that little extra charm, and the velvet has a nice weight that drapes well. Length hits right at the hip on me (I’m 5’6”, took a S), and the buttoned cuffs make rolling sleeves up feel intentional.

The deep chestnut color is even richer in person, and the velvet has a soft, dense feel without being heavy. The nacre buttons on the front placket catch the light nicely, and the length hits just right at my hips for a classic, polished look.
