These are roomier through the thigh than I expected, but the wide, slightly rounded leg drapes really nicely and doesn't swallow my shoes. The cotton has a decent weight to it and the five pockets are actually usable, not just decorative.

I was worried the balloon cut would look sloppy, but the wide, slightly rounded leg falls really nicely and isn't bulky at all. The striped cotton is soft right out of the bag, and the five pockets plus the silver rivets give it a bit of polish.

I was worried the wide balloon legs would swallow my short frame, but the classic waist sits just right. The denim is soft enough to wear all day and the silver rivets feel solid. Only thing is they run a touch long, so I cuffed them once.
